The purpose of hot-rolled coil plate

Hot rolled products have excellent properties such as high strength, good toughness, easy processing and forming, and good weldability. They are widely used in manufacturing industries such as ships, automobiles, bridges, construction, machinery, and pressure vessels. Structural steel is one of the main uses of hot-rolled coils, and its products are widely used in building structures, bridges, ships, railway vehicles, large machinery, and other structural components. Our common patterned steel strip is a steel strip or steel plate with raised patterns on the surface, which has anti slip and wear resistance functions and is widely used in industries such as construction, shipbuilding, transportation, and mechanical manufacturing.

In automotive steel, various steel plates, including cold-rolled and hot-rolled plates, account for more than 50% of the steel used in automobiles. Among them, hot-rolled coils are mainly used for trucks and buses, and products are mainly used for automotive beams, crossbeams, wheels, transmission shaft tubes, axle shells, etc. In addition, hot rolled thin coil plates with a thickness of ≤ 3.0mm are mainly used in the deep processing industry: (1) Cold rolled coil plate substrate: After cold rolling processing, hot rolled coil plates are mainly used for cold rolled commercial coils, as well as deep processed products such as coated plates, color coated plates, and electrical steel. (2) Hot rolled galvanized sheet: Due to the elimination of the cold rolling process, it has a significant cost advantage compared to hot-dip galvanized sheet, and has strong market competitiveness, which can partially replace the demand for thick gauge hot-dip galvanized sheet. (3) Hot rolled pickled coils: The demand is mainly concentrated in the automotive industry, compressor industry, mechanical manufacturing industry, spare parts processing industry, fan industry, motorcycle industry, steel furniture, hardware accessories, electrical cabinet shelves, and various shapes of stamping parts.
